Born in Montego, Jamaica and raised in Bronx, New York by a family comprised of
many professional DJ’s, he was quickly influenced by New York’s finest DJ’s: DJ Kid
Capri, Jam Master Jay & Biz Markie, there’s no question that this industry would play
a leading role in DJ Mark Da Spot’s future. New York was where this DJ was originally
discovered spinning at high end exclusive clubs such as China Club, Sweet Sixteen
and Lotus. This was about the time the DJ met Justin Timberlake who proved to be
a catalyst as the superstar then hired him to DJ for him, moved to Los Angeles and
worked with Justin Timberlake for several years after that to present.

It was no surprise that DJ Mark Da Spot would soon take over at the most popular
Hollywood and Los Angeles spots including Goa, Area, Republic, Mood, Sugar,
Basque, Pearl, Façade, Opera, LAX, Shag, Day After, Tokio, H Wood, Halo and much more; as he later was discovered by Prince who sought him after hearing and falling in love with the DJ’s playing style of Funk and Oldies which turned into djing various parties for the artist for three years to present. DJ Mark Da Spot is a household name and in high demand for his well known talent to create mash up blends and scratching style with all types of music, Hip Hop, Reggae, Rock and Pop deeming him a “Crowd Mover” and one of the most sought after DJ’s in town! A-List celebrities include Prince, Hugh Hefner, Justin Timberlake, Jennifer Lopez and NBA superstars Michael Jordan, Paul Pierce, Cuttino Mobley and Reggie Miller, LeBron James, Allen Iverson, just to name a few.

DJ Mark Da Spot travels to DJ at various venues including Poetry and Pure in Las Vegas, Club Vinyl in Denver, Club Vicci in Texas, Planet Hollywood in Hollywood, Florida, as well as International venues such as Empire in Canada, Zanzabar Nightclub, Volcanoes Nightclub and Rumors Nightclub all in Maui, Hawaii and most recently Club Amika in Santa Domingo, Club Hush in Canada, NYC's Libation, Club Sprits of Hollywood, Florida, Club Sway in Naples, Florida, the popular club Mansion in Miami, Florida, Crobar of Chicago, Illinois, and NBA All Star Weekend three years in a row in Phoenix, Arizona. Recently the Christian Audigier Tour has taken this DJ to Australia for a week full of groundbreaking events!
